The Second Lebanon War, took place between the I.d.f and the Hizballa

In the summer of 2006 in Lebanon and in northern Israel.

The war began by a massive  Israeli attack, in the aftermath of the abduction of two soldiers by the Hizballa, and in order  to destroy  the missiles forces themselves.

By the end of the war, Israel had not accomplished its objectives.
