2 International competition in USA

The Hapoel Tel Aviv gymnasts were invited to a training camp and 2 clubs competitions in the United States of America, the first competition was in Kansas City and the second competition was in Oklahoma City.
The connection was created between the Olympic coach in Kansas City and Zahava Zisaman, the coaches know each other over 20 years and after repeated invitations the trip was a go.
The gymnasts who went were- Tali Liak, Roni Rabinovitz, Hadas Koren, naama Berenshtien, Sapir Cohen, Nofar Cohen, Yoval Samoha, Noam Winograd, Tal Feingold and Waverly Harden.
The coaches- Zahava Zisaman and Maya Shani.
The judge- Tami Eisenberg.
The girls received with a lot of excitement and they stayed with 4 families from the Jewish community.
The coach, Zahava Ziasaman, got the city key from the mayor of Kansas City, an honor that received by only 3 people including Zahava Zisaman.
Zahava Zisaman was interviewed several times in the local press who was excited that Israel is participating in this clubs competition.
The delegation was invited to a special dinner that was organized by the local Jewish community and another dinner that was organized by the local Israeli community.
After the competition, Maya Shani and 6 young gymnasts are returning to Israel after staying a day in New York City with Noam Winograd's family.
Zahava Zisaman and 3 gymnasts, - Tali Liak, Roni Rabinovitz and naama Berenshtien and the judge, Tami Isenberg are continuing to another competition in Oklahoma City.
 
 
The 26th annual Dragon Invitational- February 2009
 
The girls competed in 4 different groups:
Level 10- ages 17 and up-
Tali liak participated in this group and won the all around gold medal with the final result of 36.800.
Also, Tali won 3 more gold medals on bars, beam and floor and a silver medal on vault.
 
Level 10- ages 14-16-
In this group participated Roni Rabinovitz, Hadas Koren and naama Berenshtien.
Roni won the competition with the result of 36.225, Hadas got the silver medal with the result of 36.050 and Naama ranked in 6th place with the result of 33.800.
The girls won more medals on the individual apparatus:
Vault- Roni won the silver medal and Naama won the bronze medal.
Bars- Hadas won the gold medal.
Beam- Roni won the gold medal and Hadas won the silver medal.
Floor- Hadas won the silver medal and Naama won the bronze medal.

Overall, in level 10, The Hapoel Tel Aviv team won the group silver medal out of 7 teams.

Level 9- ages 13-14-
In this group participated Sapir Cohen, Nofar Cohen and Yoval Samoha.
Nofar won the all around bronze medal with the result of 33.800, Sapir ranked in 4th place with the result of 31.475 and Yoval ranked in 5th place with the result of 31.100.
The girls won more medals on the individual apparatus:
Vault- Sapir won the silver medal.
Bars- Nofar won the bronze medal.
Beam- Sapir won the bronze medal.
 
Level 9- ages 12 and down-
In this group participated Noam Winograd and Tal Feingold.
In the all around ranking, Tal ranked in 10th place and Noam ranked in 11th place.
Overall, in level 9, The Hapoel Tel Aviv team won the group bronze medal out of 10 teams.
 
Another young gymnast participating in the competition was 10 year old Waverly Harden (an American girl who's been in the Hapoel Tel Aviv club for the last 4 years because of her parents who work for the American embassy in Israel).
Waverly did an excellent competition- on floor, she got a result of 8.975(out of 10 points), on vault, she got a result of 9.050 and on beam she got the silver medal with the result of 9.075.
All the girls and their coach, Maya Shani returned home except - Tali Liak, Roni Rabinovitz and naama Berenshtien and the judge Tami Isenberg and of course the head coach, Zahava Zisaman.
They flew to Oklahoma City to participate in the Nadia Comaneci International Invitational Competition.
 
 
Nadia Comaneci International Invitational Competition- February 2009
 
The senior level gymnasts- Tali Liak, Roni Rabinovitz and naama Berenshtien are in Oklahoma City participating in the Nadia Comaneci International Invitational Competition.
After doing an outstanding competition, the girls ranked in 3rd place as a team after the Ukrainians that ranked team second place and the Romanians that ranked 1st place with the Olympic floor medalist, Sandra Izbasa.
The girls beat the American team that ranked 4th place and the Russian team that ranked 6th place.
 
In the individual competition, they also did amazing results:
Roni Rabinovitz ranked 4th place overall, Tali Liak ranked 6th place and naama Berenshtien ranked 9th place.
The Romanian, Sandra Izbasa, ranked 1st place.
 
The medals kept on coming in the individual apparatuses:
Vault- 2nd place and the silver medal went to Tali Liak and naama Berenshtien ranked 4th place.
Bars- 2nd place and the silver medal went to Roni Rabinovitz and Tali Liak ranked 5th place.
Beam- 3rd place and bronze medal went to Roni Rabinovitz.
Floor- Tali Liak ranked 4th place.
