Israel Cup #2
The competition held on Saturday, May 17 2008 at Wingate College.
The competition was the same as last time with 89 little girls with colorful shiny leotards and that started their second competition ever.
Level H is under the guidance of Nahama Hai and Roni Robin and the participants were Dana Michali, Tamar Shamay, Ofir Horvich, Gal Kinan, May Zveda, Yam Gonem, Ofek Gotliv, Noy Samoel, Dana Girtler and Gal Peler- Cohen.
Level D is under the guidance of Enbal Ben- zioni and the participants were Zof Paldon, Waverly Harden, Ofri Samoha, Dvir Kaplenski, Sonya Solo and Li Avrahami.
The level H gymnasts did a good competition and show improvement from the first competition.
This was their second competition ever and the excitement is great and the occasion is compelling so we cross our fingers for the next competition, Israel Cup 3.
Level D is a little bit different because the girls execute higher level elements and they have more experience so the results are accordingly and on each apparatus there was at least one red representative that won a medal.
On the vault, Ofri Samoha won the gold medal with 18.700 and Dvir Kaplenski won the bronze medal with 18.500.
On bars, Dvir won the silver medal with 18.830.
On beam, Waverly Harden won the gold medal with an amazing score of 20.530.
On floor, Dvir won the bronze medal with 19.033.
At the overall result, Wavy won the bronze medal with 74.963 and Dvir was 4th with 73.923.
Hapoel Tel Aviv level D won group bronze medal.
After a little break, levels C, B and A began their competition.
The red team ruled the floor and show great presence.
Hapoel Tel Aviv was the only club that had gymnasts in every level.
Level C- Yael Shoyer, Rita Tashpulatov, Tal Feingold and Tal Nagai.
Level B- Yoval Samoha and Noam Winograd.
Level A- Yarden Zinder, Nofar Cohen and Sapir Cohen.
All the girls are under the guidance of Maya Shani.
In level C, the level is higher and the girls performed difficult elements on all 4 apparatus.
On bars, Rita won the bronze medal with 19.460 and on floor, Tal won the gold medal with 21.400.
Overall, Tal won the bronze medal with 79.603 and Rita was 6th with 77.386.
In level B, only Hapoel Tel Aviv had representative and the girls showed a good level and nice execution.
Yoval won the gold medal on vault, bars and floor and on beam the tables have turned when Noam beat Yoval.
Overall, Yoval won the gold medal and Noam won the silver medal.
In level A, the final level before moving to the international junior team there were only Hapoel Tel Aviv gymnasts once again.
In this level the elements executed are international level elements.
On vault, Yarden won the gold medal, Nofar won the silver medal and Sapir won the bronze medal.
On bars, Yarden won the gold medal, Nofar won the silver medal and Sapir won the bronze medal.
On beam, Nofar won the gold medal, Yarden won the silver medal and Sapir won the bronze medal.
On floor, Sapir won the gold medal, Nofar won the silver medal and Sapir won the bronze medal.
Overall, Yarden won the gold medal, Nofar won the silver medal and Sapir won the bronze medal.
Zahava Zissman and Orna Shai, the head coaches of Hapoel Tel Aviv were very proud of the girl's achievements.
In this competition the crowd was filled with red cheering family members and friends.
