TOUR FROM THE PORT OF HAIFA AND ASHDOD - SUGGESTED ITINERARY
DAY 1 Haifa Port - Meet your guide in the parking zone by the Ship at: 08:30.
Ascend Mt. Carmel and drive to the breathtaking panorama of
Haifa Harbur, see the Bahai Temple and world center and the beautiful
gardens surrounding it. Drive to Akko (Acre) With its Medieval
Citadel and Knights Halls, Tunnles, Markets, Bath House and Port.
Continue to Rosh Hanikra on the Lebanese border descend by cable car to the beautifull Sea and Grootos. see the Border with Lebanon. return to the Ship.
Another Option: Haifa Bahai Gardens and Shrine, Visit Akko (Acre),
Continue to Rosh Hanikra, on the Lebanease Border see the beautifull grottos. Drive through the mountains of the upper Galilee to Zefat (Safed) ,
16th century birthplace of the mystical "Kabbala" movement. Stroll
the Cobbled streets to explore ancient Synagogues and Galleries of
the Artist Colony. Drive back to the Ship in Haifa.
Other important and interesting sites: Nazareth, Zippori, Druze Towns on Mt. Carmel, Stela Maris, Tel Megiddo, Mt. Tabor, Muhraka and much more.
DAY 2 Ashdod Port - Meet your guide in the parking zone at 08:30 - by the Ship
Drive to Jerusalem. Begin with a magnificent Panorma from Mt. of
Olives. Drive via to the Garden of Getsemani and Church of all
Nations, visit the Room of the Last Supper and the Tomb of King
David on Mt. Zion. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem to the Jewish
Quarter, walk along the Cardo once ancient Roman Byzantine
Market, see the first wall of ancient Jerusalem, the Broad Wall, walk
via Burnt House to the Western Wall. Enjoy the Western Wall Tunnel Tour. Continue to the Moslem Quarter and walk along the Via Dolorosa - 14 staistions of the Cross, walk througe the arab bazzar to the Christian Quarter and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Drive back to Ashdod Port.
DAY 3 Ashdod Port - Meet your guide in the parking at 08:30.
Drive through the wilderness of the Negev Desert to the lowest place
on Eaerth, the Dead Sea. Arrive at Masada, the Mountain Fortress
where the Jewish Zelots fought against mighty Rome. Ascend by cable
car and visit King Herod's Palaces, Bathhouses, Cisterns, and Storage
rooms. Drive to Ein Bokek for an unforgettable float in the Dead Sea,
enjoy indoor pools in one of a Hotel spa. Drive back to Ashdod Port.
